Because far too often this blogger posts like...totally dumb stuff. I have decided to post one smart person question per week. ....er I mean...intellectual. (spelled it right. I know because I looked it up.)

My question for this week is....... "We set aside one day each year to celebrate Labor Day so....why don't we set a day aside to celebrate the slackers?" Bet nobody ever thought of that before, huh?

WHO'S RIGHT? ME OR BOB?
Had to add this in cause I didn't wanna make a whole new post. Ok....when Bob and I go to the market he often comes up behind me and rubs my shoulders. Today he said..."Boy wonder what would happen if I accidentally did that to the wrong woman?"
One of us thinks he'd get knocked on his can. The other one thinks the woman would lean into it like Lucy getting her ear scratched.
So which do you agree with? Theory one...or theory two?

The slackers would require too many days off to catch up!
But who would notice?

WE do set aside a day to celebrate the slackers, it's called "fathers day"

This post is proof that YOU should be president of your local MENSA chapter. Got that?

Ebezp, there's another good question what does a slacker do when they go on holiday?

Lime, it would be less special for them but...if there was a National Slacker day wouldn't every body get that day off? Just like everybody gets Labor Day now? Hmmmm.

Ba Doozie....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh ha ha ha ha! YEAH! Now that was good!

Buddah, OH MY WORD! You're right! I could be president of Mensa. Well, let me tell you, if I get that post there's gonna be some changes made over there. No more boring scientific stuff to start with.

What is Labour Day? Remember I'm a Brit. Lol

Suze, that's the day we celebrate the American worker and all the hard work they do. (reality translation) another holiday we invented to get off work, have cook outs and party down. LOL!

Because, Crabby, the other 364 days are dedicated to the slackers, who act as if each one of those days is a holiday.

I think the answer to Bob's question is both. First she would lean into it, enjoying herself until she came to her senses and flattened him.

Suze:

Labour Day is the same as May Day in Europe - it's in September so that we wouldn't be in line with international socialists/labour and the whole May Day shtick.

"Labour Day is an annual holiday celebrated all over the world that resulted from efforts of the labour union movement, to celebrate the economic and social achievements of workers.

The celebration of Labour Day has its origins in the eight hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest."

Crabby:

i think your husband would get chewed out if he rubbed the wrong woman. the one that would lean into would be far and few between.
