I hope you got the food and sleep. I went to Carrabba's on someone else becauwe I took some pictures for them that they will use for a broacher. Yummm! Delice and I even had a few beers. Not bad for a Monday.

I'm up to my earballs in work over here. You all would not believe how bad I have gotten myself in over my head on remodel stuff. Well, actually I bet Sal would. And probably Milky.

Anybody here ever built a screened in porch? Bob and I are getting ready to have a go at doing that. We're also building a fireplace surround. do we know what we're doing? noooooo. LOL!

Someday I'll post a list of all the stuff we're changing. It's pretty agressive for two folks who don't know nuthin about contstructin stuff.

I've been meaning to ask what you are doing. I think it's great you are staying in the house.

We did a screened in porch - but just this past weekend my hubby and his uncle put in those sliding windows so we can use it year round.

As for the porch - when we had our house built- we had the porch roofed and the concrete poured. We did the rest. Well, we hired out the siding. I'll tell you something that is great and makes the screen easy to do - but I can't remember what it is called. IT is a screening system - screen tight or something - they used to have those goofy commercials with the older couple . . . . it works so great - really pulls the screen nice and tight. Check at Lowes and/or Home Depot.

We've got to get an electrician here to run the wire for the hear/air unit out on ours and then we can do sheetrock and the flooring. Woohoo!!

Tina, I'd be happy to post the list. I thought of doing before and after pics but I'm afraid some of these folks might get bored outa their minds so, I might do it on a message board or better yet I could put them on the sparky board. It's a huge list and I am dead dog determined to "get her done"!
