Hang on. Other kind of love. Not the bedroom one.

I realized something today and it set me back on my heels. So let me ask you, if you were to answer honestly, how many people do you believe have truly loved you in your lifetime?

For me, the answer is 3. Bob, definitely. Bob does. And both of my sisters. And that's pretty much it, near as I can tell. And in all fairness we're talking go to the matt kind of love. You know the do or die stuff.

Now this is not to say that there aren't several who have and do kind of love me. Just not the really big kind. Especially the dog. The dog is crazy about me when I rub her belly or give her a bone. I tell you she can't get enough of me.

So how about you? In your heart of hearts, how many people do you believe have truly loved you in that way?

PS. Just to be square here. I'm not miserable or anything ok? Personally, I think 3 isn't too bad.

BTW, I'll be calling on all 3 of you for an organ of some type in the near future. So take your vitimens and junk. I don't want any inferior parts.

If you mean in love, then 1, count'em 1. And she's sat next to me now. Yes there have been others, flings, infatuations, but real true 100%, no questions total head over heals ... Suze.

And like you for the most part my time in bars involves falling over and looking stupid. (re your comment on my post of course, I haven't just gone a bit mentally random. No that happened a long time ago, look, now I'm rambling ...)

And your header image BTW, is really freaking me out.

Crabby, you forgot about your mother.

I can honestly say

* sister

* mother

* father

* grandmother x2

* Mr. Sign

I guess that's 6. Interesting post.

Mother and Mema, hands down. And MilkMan is above them I believe. He's been thru a lot of crap with me and he's still standing beside me. (not that I haven't taken more than my share of his crap lol)

I love you Crabs, but you can't have my liver, I'm busy abusing it right now.

It looks like I fall in line with others. My parents, my Sister, and my Brother. So that would be 4. I did not know my grandparents well enough as my Moms mother was out of state and I think I saw her once and my Dads Mom was not around a lot and died before I got very old although I do remember her.

There are some others that I would say care a lot about me but that is not really what you asked for.

You know, I have read Suze's blog but I have never wandered in the direction of Alex. I best make up for that...

I am going to have to say, "1."

I am still trying for "2," though, and as long as I haven't croaked, I still have a chance.

Excellent, thought-provoking post, Crabbers. Made me sit back and take a gander.

I've always been careful to keep a close circle of friends. I don't want crowds of people around me. No thanks.

My friends I noted above are all like true sisters. I'm amazed that I have such people in my life.

That would be my two sister's Crab and Squirrel. Well wait a minute, after last night does Crab still love me? Oh hell yea. Unconditional love right??????

Mom loved all 3 of us.

Other than that I can't think of anyone who has loved me just because I am me. I would consider everone else as "fair weather: friends.

` I used to HATE love and used to HATE having fun... because I totally misunderstood those concepts. I can thank my Paranoid, Psychotic Dad for that.
` I've gone most of my life feeling nothing but rejection, until recently.
` My boyfriend, Lou Ryan the superhero, most definitely makes me feel loved. I couldn't leave him for anything.
` Other than that, I have friends, but it's not the same.

ahhhhhh ah ah ah our love made Roxi throw up in her mouth a little. LMAO

I love it when we can get Roxie to do that. LOL!

I also have to like totally admire Jamwall's mind. It's like a steel trap. After all, with alcohol and firearms, who wouldn't give up an organ for you? It's brilliant! They don't even have to really love you. Just say they do.

This is why I hang with Jam whenever I can! He teaches me good stuff.

yea, that jamwall is my type of guy.
