Over the years, anybody that has read any of Crabby's stories, has no doubt had a laugh at her Mother In Law, Miss Ellie's expense.

Miss Ellie passed away this morning.

Pam and Bob, please accept my sincere condolences with the loss of your Mother. If there is anything......I'm here.

With love,
Carol

` Oh no!! That's so sad!!! You know, lately people's deaths have been reported in blogs I read and it's had a kind of depressing effect on me.
` ...As a consequence I have to watch that when I tell everyone I died that it means I was shot with fake bullets in a movie.
` In any case, the blog writers find some silly antics to write about soon enough. I'm sure you won't be feeling so down for long.

Aw, thanks guys! I MISS you all!

I am currently not only grieving but deeply ensconced in the pits of family hell. Amazing how death can bring out the best and the absolute worst in folks.

And it's not over yet. But for me....it will at least be better because I had a slight collapse and had to go to the doc. I am now on heart meds (temporary till the heart gets her groove back) tranqs, and sleeping pills.

My very sweet friend Ethel drove all the way across town this morn at Bob's request and took me to see Doc.

I am now so high I have to think a minute to figure out which end of me goes on the toilet when nature calls. Remind me later to put the Doc on my "good boys" Christmas list. Cuz he saved my bacon today. I do believe I have gained the extraordinary power of complete brain blockage.

Feel better soon. I hate it when people, family for heaven sakes, fight each other. My Uncle/Aunt both passed on over the course of a few years and the family got plain old ugly and now they pretty much do not talk to one of their brothers. How sad.

Now go take your meds like a good girl.

It's hard to imagine a day at the cowpie field without hi-jinx and laughter, but now and then - sadly - we have to face the other side of life. I'm sorry for your loss.

Crab, take care of yourself please.

It's the bigger end that goes on the toilet, by the way.

When you stick the wrong end of you down the toilet the smell in your nostrils will alert you to the fact that you need to flip yourself over ;)

Still thinking about you guys!

Sad to hear it. It sounded like you all made her last days a little brighter.
