I Lucy, friend to skunk, wish to share my life story with people (who I love like wienies).
Please watch. I Lucy, am lonely today. Smell like skunk. People do not understand skunk. Skunk good to cuddle. Run very fast. Lucy fast too, like skunk. Lucy chase skunk. Crabby chase Lucy.
Crabby say, "NO LUCY! NO!"
Lucy keep running, running, running. Very happy. Smile big for skunk.
Crabby make scary bad voice. "Peeeeee U! Lucy, STOP!"

Oh. My. GAWD, George was such a cute dog!!!! Ever hear from him?

I'm sure he blames his exile from Crab-dom on Lucy LOL

She's a cutie, jumping thru the courtyard.

LOL..... dog are such lovable creatures. Not like those stinking cats.

I DO! I hear from him every now and then. That dog lives better than I do. The lady who adopted him has 110 acres. And she cooks for him!

BT, you are sooo gonna have the cat lovers chasing after you with their scalping gear. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ha ha a ha ha!

I tell ya, Lucy is making me crazy with this skunk love crap. She NEEDS to get over her fascination with these critters.

I wished somebody would cook for me.

No dog (let alone a puppy) should ever make that sound!

Lucy was such a beautiful pup.

Awwww... Now I want a dog again more than ever poor Mr Gab!

Milky, me too. I wish somebody would cook for me sooooo bad.

Sign, she also suckles in her sleep. LOL! Even now. She'll be 3 in February and she still purses her lips and makes sucking sounds when she sleeps.

Top Cat, LMAO! I TOLD BT he was gonna get his ornery butt clawed. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh ha ha ha ha ha.

Gab, all our married lives Bob has complained about too many dogs ... till now. These Goldens are so loving and goofy. They get themselves into "more" sticky situations than I do. I swear! This dog was made for me. She's a great distraction for when I screw up because she's usually got some kind of hair-brained plan of her own going on that everybody's laughing at.

I am sooooooo glad that Alex has never taken playing with skunks!

Nick, unfortunately the neighbor's cat did. LOL! Just about everyone in our neighborhood now has a skunked dog or cat. That cute little skunk family is kickin' ass and taking names all up and down the street.

Poor Lucy. I feel for her and you. I keep smelling the skunks near my house and see them once in a while but have been fortunate to never have been in their path. Can you believe people have skunks for pets? Of course I think they have their glands removed... I hope.

Oh and I will cook for you... how does Mac and Cheese sound? That is unless you want to be experimented on. I need to learn how to make Greek dishes over the next year. I want to do the flaming cheese but I guess that is not such a good idea indoors.

Love her sounds at the end. Such a cutie.

Little Wing, she's sitting here next to me now, all 100 pounds of her trying to push me out of my chair because she wants me to go back to You Tube and play the Golden Retriever videos. LOL! I could keep her busy for hours just playing those over and over.

Lee Ann, You should here her belch. UGH!! She is soooo NOT a lady.

Barman, I love Mac and cheese! You know we have an excellent Greek place here. It's owned by the sweetest lady. Her name is Anna and she uses all of her mother's recipes. Wanna go there on your next visit? Maybe she can give you some tips?

Is this page taking too long to load for anyone else?
I can replace the movie with a link if it is.

At 9/13/2007 8:28 AM, Blogger barman

Crabbs, that blogrolling thing is all messed up today. I think that is what is taking so long to load. Once my page loads it sometimes does not have any links to other blogs, sometimes it does.

Greek could be fun be we do not have to either.

Barman, that thing goes on the fritz every now and then. I knew it wasn't loading but I thought the movie was hanging me up.

Seequin, thank you! I had some sound glitches because I had to pull it back into the camera from another source then edit the original movie down so people didn't fall asleep watching. So I extracted the audio and reattached. Doesn't always work out exactly as planned. LOL!

Our family has always had at least two dogs at any given time as well as two cats. But after my dad's heart attack and my move home to care for him we were very glad we only had the two cats. Then it was well we cant get a dog yet if we arent staying here. Now of course it looks like we may stay here for awhile anyways so lets get one. I of course want a yorkie....but with 4 little kids here thats out of the question. So my next choice is a goldendoodle. They shed very little and are great with kids. Hubby wants a lab for hunting. Ok no problem. This is why I always show Mr Gab Lucy and her tricks thinking maybe seeing a dog in action he will want to move faster on getting a dog. At least one.

At 9/13/2007 2:42 PM, Blogger Crabby

Well, there's one thing you can tell Mr. Gab .... if he wants a dog that will fetch anything you throw and return it (including things you don't want back) it's a golden. LOL!

I had to snag her tail once to keep her from running right off the cliff after Bob tossed a broken tree branch over the side of the ravine.

Oh man what a cutie! Goldens are the best. I'm forwarding this to my mom (who currently has one named "Taylor" who mawls my husband as soon as he walks in the door).

Poor Lucy - give her a big hug and kiss (when she's unstinkified) from me!
